Day 2 Human Environment Interaction On day 2 at Cardigan we went on what was the biggest hike of the trip. We hiked up Firescrew and Cardigan and had lots of fun. We saw a lion's mane mushroom, and sketched for a while. We played a game called camouflage that was sort of like hide and seek. As we stepped on the sticks and stones, I realized, we were changing the environment. Even the smallest things were changing. Like tiny twigs snapping underneath our feet. The Enviorment was changing us too. It could give us allergies from pollen or other things. The sun could make us tan, or the cold could make us shiver. We took frequent breaks so we didn’t get tired, and sometimes ate food during the breaks. When we finally got to the top of the mountain we had oreos and me and my friends made a person out of rocks. We took pictures and it was time to go back down. On the way down a few of us (including me) almost hurt our ankles walking down. We finally got back and showered, and then had some wars about which dorm was which so Mr. W told us to quiet down. We did, and then it was time for dinner. It was delicious, we had potato salad and Burgers. After we ate, we had rice crispy treats for dessert. We got into bed after having some hot coco and playing life, (the board game). Mr. W gave us chocolates again and my group stayed up really late, or early I guess you could say considering we fell asleep in the morning. Day 2 was fun and Cardigan was by far the best part of the trip
